We decided to head to the Hudson River waterfront to have dinner at the Chelsea Brewery Company. Arriving in time to catch the tail end of a beautiful sunset, we decided it was a bit to breezy to sit outside, but we sat at a great booth with a view of the marina, and enjoyed perhaps one of the most decadent meals of my life...a thirty dollar plate of fried goodness—including calamari, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, and a new york style pretzel with cheese sauce. Chelsea Brewery is the largest micro brewery in Manhattan, so we decided to wash it all down with a sampler of 6 of their best brews.
So, this little project is really intended to be less of a "blog" and more of an online journal where I get to keep track of the never-ending stream of awesome events, concerts, festivals, theater, and outdoor recreation that NYC has to offer. Living in this city is so overwhelming because there's so very much to do and so precious little time!
