My favorite new NYC Spot...the Frying Pan!

On Friday evening, I finally organized a social outing (something I rarely do these days...generally I just sit back and wait on my much-more social friends to take the initiative.) But I've been dying to check out the Frying Pan for about a year now, since it reopened last summer. And it is indeed one of my new favorite places in all of this great city!!
The Frying Pan is an old/retired Fire Boat (like a fire truck, only a boat.) Anyway, they have turned it into this AWESOME bar, docked at 26th Street on the Hudson River. The day was threatening rain, but it held out and we enjoyed a lovely evening on the water, with great friends, cold beer, and delicious burgers! I was joined by Kate, Lisa, Tami, Kris, Marisa, Lara, and her friend Courtney.
I can't wait to go back. Sadly, I forgot my camera and these were the best images found on the web. Will be sure to take it next time I go back!
