West Side Story on the Elevated Acre
So another great River to River Festival event are the Monday night movie nights they do at the Elevated Acre, a small park (probably literally an acre) at 55 Water Street near Southstreet Seaport on the East River. Zach and I got there early with our Cosi picnic and enjoyed a cool river breeze and some live music while we waited for the main event, a showing of the West Side Story. I LOVE to watch movies that are filmed in New York in New York! The music was great, we sang along, the crowd clapped and cheered at the end of each musical number. So much fun!
