Well...even though this event was basically a disaster, it sounds nice, so I thought I would include it. It started out great, with a long lovely picnic and a couple of bottles of wine, on a blanket on the Great Lawn of Central Park...but it was this night that I realized the word "free" combined with 8 million New Yorkers = recipe for disaster. The crowd was, well, ridiculous. Next time I will gladly pay for a ticket so that I can actually enjoy the show. But it was sure a nice idea!
