Despite the chilly breeze on Easter Sunday, Mom & Pop and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful blue skies and gorgeous spring blossoms, and brave the cold in order to enjoy our original plan of a picnic brunch in Central Park. We picked out an amazing spread at Milanos, my neighborhood gourmet shop. With pesto & spinach chicken salad, feta pasta salad, a big hunk of fresh baked bread, and mimosas (ofcourse!) the meal was DELICIOUS! (and i even got to break out my picnic basket for the first time in a long time!) We topped it off with a couple of Milano's gourmet deserts. And Roxie's cherry blossom kimono doubled beautifullly as an Easter Dress!
So, this little project is really intended to be less of a "blog" and more of an online journal where I get to keep track of the never-ending stream of awesome events, concerts, festivals, theater, and outdoor recreation that NYC has to offer. Living in this city is so overwhelming because there's so very much to do and so precious little time!
