Free Concert: Connor Oberst & Jenny Lewis in Battery Park!
The River to River Festival goes all summer long and offers events almost 7 days a week at venues all across lower Manhattan (from the East River to the Hudson River and everywhere in between!) On the Fourth of July is the biggest concert of the festival, and this year happened to be one of my very favorite artists, Conor Oberst performing with his Mystic Valley String Band. Opening for him was Jenny Lewis, who I was not familiar with, but absolutely ended up LOVING!! With a picnic lunch and a 1-Liter water bottle full of vodka, Morgan and I met Kris for a gorgeous day in Battery Park and a really awesome concert!
