On Memorial Day Monday, Sara and I decided to complete our fantastic 3-day weekend with a 3-hour boat tour around Manhattan. Our boat ride circumvented the entire island, a total of 26 miles of shoreline and it was AMAZING. Sadly, I was just as pumped about getting some great photographs of the city as I was about the actual boat ride, but realized when I got there that I forgot my camera...so, I will just have to do it again sometime so I can get some pictures. But it was nice to be completely laid back and not having to fight all the tourists for the good angles. I snapped a couple with my cell phone (attached here) but they do not begin to do justice to all the sights we viewed from the water.The picture above, is from the internet, but is a picture of the boat we were on, Circle Line cruises. Today, the sky was blue...it was about 78 degrees, and there was not a cloud in the entire sky. It was amazing.
